Description: Hooky and Proggy were a common site in working class Geordie homes until the 50s when what we now term recycling was make do and mend. Proggy mats are the essence of recycling using old clothes & blankets to create something new. You will be shown both the Proggy and Hooky technique, which materials to choose, how to cut your material and what to look for when choosing a design.
Who is this course for: Basic Sewing and Alterations is great if you are complete beginner with no previous experience or are revisiting the craft.
What do I need to bring: All course materials are provided but if you are left handed please bring some scissors with you
